Option 1
The Cate Cody Trio
Melodic and rhythmic Jazz Trio with vocals, piano and double bass. This option is sophisticated and compact so it's ideal where space is limited. Perfect for entertaining guests during the drinks reception, wedding breakfast or into the evening.

Option 2
The Cate Cody Quartet
Add either drums or clarinet/saxophone to the Trio for our stylish Quartet. Drums are a must if you have a dance-floor or clarinet/saxophone adds melodic decoration for a compact quartet. There are two audio samples of the Quartet - the first features drums and the second features saxophone.

Option 3
The Cate Cody Quintet
Reminiscent of the small swing combos formed in the 1930s, this line-up features voice, piano, double bass, drums and clarinet/saxophone. Dancing is positively encouraged, making the Quintet great evening entertainment for sophisticated youngsters and appreciative grandparents alike. In the words of a recent client "just the right mixture of laid back and fun!"

Cate Cody's Autumn Leaves
The pulsing rhythm of Gypsy Jazz meets the American Songbook - swinging quartet, featuring vocals, two guitars and double bass. Appropriate for those seeking something different or a popular alternative to a classical string quartet.

Talented Musicians - Cate Cody is one the UK's finest jazz singers with appearances at The BAFTA TV Awards, for Earl Spencer at Althorp, Park Lane Hotel Grand Ballroom and The Emirates Stadium. Her musicians are professionals from the top ranks of British Jazz having worked with Stacey Kent, Imelda May, Clare Teal, Acker Bilk , Digby Fairweather, George Melly, Blue Harlem, Georgie Fame and Kenny Ball and nearly all of the musicians are Jazz Award winners.
Experience - We have performed at hundreds of Weddings of different sizes and are consequently perfectly placed to assist you with planning the live music on your big day.
Professionalism - We will send you a quotation promptly and answer any questions that you may have. We are professional and efficient, punctual and smart and we are never too loud!
First Dance - To make your wedding day perfect, your special song can be played for the first dance. Popular requests include "La Vie En Rose", "It Had To Be You" and "The Way You Look Tonight". There is a large repertoire to choose from and we can offer advice on suitable songs with perfect words and the right tempo for you. Alternatively, with prior arrangement it may be possible for us to learn a new song or if there is a particular version of a song that you would like, we can play it through our PA.
Flexibilty - You may like the Trio for the Champagne Reception and the full band for Evening, or you may prefer a different combination of instruments or solo piano for an hour. Please ask..
If you are unsure that Jazz may not be for everyone, we have lost count of the number of times that people have said "I didn't think I liked Jazz, but I loved your music and I didn't realise how many songs I would recognise!"
